Brittas Village

Brittas Village is situated on the main N81 Blessington Road between Blessington and Saggart / Citywest. It's a small village but we have a big community of wonderful people.  Our Community Centre sits in the heart of Brittas with St. Martin's National School located further down the same road.

We think it's a pretty little village (and credit must also be given to the Tidy Towns team) that has gone through many changes in recent times. Sadly it no longer has the amenities it once used to have, like a village shop, post office, or pub. The village really lacks a central social point, but things are always changing, so who knows what will happen in the near future.

As of January 2018, there are positive signs that the 'Blue Gardenia' may return in some form, which would be fantastic for our community and something we should all support!
